Nationalpark Sommercard

60 free admissions and maximum mobility

There’s an all-inclusive card for a holiday in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region from 29 May to 31 October, the Nationalpark Sommercard. Holiday guests receive this card on the day of their arrival from their hosts, and can enjoy free entry to more than 60 attractions, such as several cable cars, leisure and sports facilities, as well as free admission to  sights, museums and natural spectacles.

The Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region offers holidaymakers an entire world brimming with variety in front of a stunning natural backdrop. Glaciers, waterfalls, alps, huts and regional specialties can be discovered on foot or with cable car, by bus, local train or car. The 13 National Park valleys with 19 pretty, well kept spots offer a wide selection of options for families, nature enthusiasts, hikers, ambitious athletes and connoisseurs. As the largest national park of the Alps, Hohe Tauern Natoinal Park is also particularly worth protecting. Sustainability and environmental concerns have always played an important role here.

One free service can be utilised every day

The card includes, for example, use of the Panoramabahn cable car in Hollersbach, Weisssee Glacier World, the cable cars in Neukirchen, Rauris, Königsleiten or in Grossarl as well as free admission to sports and leisure facilities such as the Hollersbach, leisure complex, the Mittersill indoor public pool, the archery facility in Stuhlfelden or the mountain golf hiking trail in Embach. Museums, such as the National Park Centre | 360 Grad, the planetarium and the Königsleiten observatory, or the vintage car museum in Kaprun can also be visited free of charge. The same goes for the WasserWelten Krimml, the Krimml Waterfalls, Ferleiten Wildlife & Adventure Park, or the Bodenhaus Rauris gold panning site.

Exploring a unique natural scenery with the National Park Rangers
